SMU's Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics found in a study of Singapore-listed companies that firms where the base salary made up the highest proportion of CEO pay were those in manufacturing and services. Associate Dean Themin Suwardy of SMU's School of Accountancy and Associate Professor of Finance Jeremy Goh from the Lee Kong Chian School of Business also provide their comments on CEOs' pay.
