You are gently reminded to register for the first SKBI event of 2016, “Singaporeans in Tech”, on 15th Jan, 10:30am – 1:00pm (followed by buffet lunch) at the Singapore Management University.
The event features a talk by Chade Meng Tan (Google’s 107th employee and 1st Singaporean employee) streamed live from Coursera Headquarters (Mountain View, California) on a campaign he is co-chairing: One Billion Acts of Peace. About the Speaker
Chade Meng Tan, Co-Chair of One Billion Acts of Peace, NYT bestselling author of Search Inside Yourself, Chairman of the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, and retired Jolly Good Fellow of Google, will suggest some strategies for creating the conditions for world peace in one lifetime, and maybe share a few funny stories.
One Billion Acts of Peace is an audaciously ambitious campaign that aims to inspire, empower and facilitate everybody in the world to work together to solve the biggest problems facing humanity. It has the active support and participation of 13 Nobel Peace Laureates, 7 of whom have nominated One Billion Acts of Peace for the Nobel Peace Prize.
