In a talk at Singapore Management University's Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics recently, entitled 'Education or Experience: Managing Funds Successfully', Simon Davies, executive chairman of Threadneedle Investments, who has 30 years of experience in the industry, said the scale tips slightly more towards experience.
